Frequently Asked Question
Windows: ITVDesk stopped working - Fault Module Name vrfcore.dll
Last Updated 22 days ago
vrfcore.dll is related to Microsoft Application Verifier. If Application Verifier is enabled for ITVDesk or inherited from a test/debug environment, it can cause ITVDesk to stop unexpectedly.
This is normally a Windows diagnostic configuration issue, not a licensing or ITVDesk account problem.

Recommended fix
- Check whether Microsoft Application Verifier is installed or configured on the computer.
- Remove ITVDesk from Application Verifier tests if it was added there.
- Do not delete unrelated registry keys or system files.
- Restart Windows after changing verifier settings.
- Start ITVDesk again and verify logs.
If the problem continues
- Install the latest ITVDesk version.
- Check Windows updates and runtime components.
- Send ITVDesk logs and the Windows crash report to support.
Safety note
- Registry changes should be performed only by an administrator who understands Windows diagnostic tools.
