ITVDesk is designed for professional VMS/NVR integration and can be used as a virtual ONVIF IP camera for desktops, applications, cameras, media sources, and secure video workflows.

Supported operating systems

Windows: Windows 10, Windows 11, and supported Windows Server environments.
Linux and macOS: supported with ITVDesk builds intended for those platforms.
Architecture: 64-bit systems are recommended for current ITVDesk versions and production deployments.

Recommended computer requirements

Modern dual-core or multi-core CPU.
4 GB RAM minimum; 8 GB or more recommended for multi-stream, high-resolution, or server/service use.
Stable wired network connection for VMS/NVR production environments.
GPU acceleration is recommended when using GPU_ZERO or high-performance encoding workflows.

Required runtime components

Install the latest supported Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package when using ITVDesk on Windows.
Keep graphics, network, and chipset drivers updated for best streaming performance.

ITVDesk can be integrated with professional ONVIF-compatible VMS/NVR platforms such as Milestone XProtect, Genetec Security Center, Nx Witness / Network Optix, Avigilon / Motorola, Qognify, Luxriot, Hanwha/Wisenet, Hikvision, Dahua, and similar systems.

For production use, we recommend testing ITVDesk with the exact VMS/NVR model, codec, resolution, frame rate, security protocol, and network configuration you plan to deploy.
